Massachusetts serves as the U.S. hub for several global business operations, including the U.S. Commercial Business Unit, Global R&D, Global Oncology, Global Vaccines, Biologics Manufacturing and Cell Therapy Manufacturing.
Outside of Massachusetts we have major operations in five states, including research and manufacturing facilities, plasma donation centers across the country that support the lifesaving work we do across rare and plasma-derived therapeutic areas, and our extensive field network.
Our belief in putting people first extends beyond our patients. It includes their families, their communities, and our own Takeda colleagues and their families. It is our passion for people that transforms our work into meaningful action.
We are proud to be certified as a Top Global Employer 2024 by the Top Employers Institute — a certificate that recognizes companies with exceptional employee offerings. This recognition is based upon independent research and assessment of our workplace environment.
Takeda has earned multiple workplace awards attributed to our exceptional focus on flexibility, benefits, inclusion and wellness.
Takeda strives to have a workplace that is as diverse as the patients we serve; inclusive in our behaviors; and equitable in our actions. We are on a mission to embed and harness the power of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) to develop our people, unlock their unique potential, and be purposeful about ways to drive innovation and better serve our communities and partners.
The Takeda Executive Team's diversity, together with their functional expertise and unparalleled experience, collectively represents our global community.
We are committed to creating value for society by putting our core strengths and capabilities to work. By addressing unmet medical needs, supporting sustainable health care systems, mitigating climate change and striving to create a diverse and inclusive organization where people can thrive, we aim to help solve key societal challenges. With our purpose, vision and values as a foundation — and through the collective efforts of each and every one of our employees — we call this approach purpose-led sustainability.
