We would like to warmly thank the organizers, Nordic Network on Rare Diseases and Socialstyrelsen, for a successful Nordic Conference on Rare Diseases. We all agreed that healthcare systems of the future need to be adequately prepared to address the burden of rare diseases.

Takeda, Novo Nordisk, Sobi, and Alexion AstraZeneca Rare Disease, the four industry partners involved in the organization of the Nordic Rare Disease Summit, would like to take this opportunity to share our policy recommendations on how to strengthen Nordic collaboration in the area of rare diseases.
